I’ve been there. I have recently re-visited the whole “Debt Universe” and I can tell you, I don’t like it there.
Some of us stay there, on purpose. Well, if you like debt and don’t want to get out, this post is not for you.
But if you are sick and tired off being sick and tired… of debt… then “may this post be with you.”
Meaning, you ain’t playin. You are going to do whatever it takes to blast yourself out and up and through and to – dollars in your pocket!
Here are 14 things that you can do to get out of debt ASAP.
1. Sell stuff on eBay.
I actually love eBay. I have sold clothes, cameras, and various other clothing accessories on Ebay. Aside from flipping clothing and selling them on various online platforms, did you know that you can make money with eBay by selling other items for a profit?
This is very much like selling on Amazon, you can sell just about anything and make a good profit on eBay.
If you love thrifting or finding awesome deals that allow you to buy low and sell high, then getting started with eBay as a seller is perfect for you.
You may not be able to make a full-time income overnight with this. Well, in fact, you will not make that kind of money over-night.
But if you can get up to $500 a month while keeping your day job. That’s life-changing income in most cases.

This hobby or part-time gig could potentially turn into a full-time career down the road!
2. Start a Blog That Creates Recurring Income
This is a mini side project that I just started.
I genuinely enjoy writing topics about making money, saving money, and overall personal finance. My goal is to help you live a better life without having to stress about your finances!
As a new blogger, I’ve been learning how to earn money from Google at home.
I’ve been earning over a few hundred dollars per month from affiliate marketing. I’m really digging it..

3. Tutor Kids
I recently tutored about 7 students in acting. (Oh yeah. Ive also acted lead in few stage plays in my day, as well as directed many plays so I kinda have a side hussle bug for this!)
But I digress. The point is – any skill you have even if it isn’t making you a ga-gillion dollars… there are people everywhere looking just for an intorductory course or maybe even more advanced.
If there’s a subject you love or a skill you’re good at, use it to your advantage to make extra money!
I’m sure your family or friends know someone who is looking for you to teach them something you’re good at. If not, you can advertise yourself online to see who’s looking for your expertise.

6. Make Money Online using Pinterest!
“Pinterest?” I say? Oh yes.
Hey like you perhaps, I just didn’t get Pinterest for like – eons. Maybe even years.
I wasn’t much of a Pinterest user at first. I am no different than y’all. I would open an account, or try to. And then I would just stare at all these weird pictures and “pins” oh my!
“Lions and tigers and PINS, oh my!”
Let me talk you down from the “pinterest ledge.” No, I don’t think there actually is one. But it feels like it sometimes. I would watch people having fun and making money and just felt like the odd man out.
All I really needed was a caring soul, who could see me crying in the rain, and just SHOW ME THE WAY!
So eventually. Someone did.

8. Sell old, pre purchased or used clothing.
Look, my wife hates used clothing. In fact, when we started dating, she agreed to let me date her, as long as I promised to get rid of all my old clothes.

But on the other hand, it really showed me that I could make some cash selling stuff that I wasn’t wearing anymore – or that a new girlfriend was near death if I kept wearing it.
Well I found a story about someone who made my profits look pretty small in comparison.
9. Painted homes.
Oh yes.
Been there. Done that.
Just a few years ago it was “Am there! Do THAT!”
LOL Hey it’s nothing to be ashamed of. I loved the few years I painted on the side! I made really good cash and it was a huge step in paying off my debt load.
Usually I would paint a few rooms or the entire floor or some family friends and acquaintances who told me they needed to paint their homes. From that, I made an extra $200-$300 per day plus.
One of the places to find jobs is to search on Kijiji or Craigslist. He genuinely enjoys painting and wants to do more of it.
So, if you like using your hands, you can consider looking for someone to hire you to paint for some extra cash.

11. Rent out our place.
I saved tons of moola in my day by having roommates before I got married.
I would always get enough so that rent was basically free. And rent payment is the largest payment we make every month..
Imagine taking that out of the debt equation! I know, right? I agree! Exactly. Yes. I know. Okay so now that we got that out of the way…
If you don’t have a full unit to rent out, consider making extra money by renting out one of your spare rooms. Depending on your area, the layout and design of your room, and whether or not it’s furnished, you can earn an extra $400 to $1,000 per month for each room plus a bathroom.
Tip:Bachelors who want to rent a single room usually prefer a furnished place. If you do a simple cosmetic upgrade and provide nice furnishings, you can charge more with a small investment. Not only do you earn more by upgrading your place and making it look nice, but you’ll also attract quality tenants.

I know. I know. Everybody’s doing it..
But look, just because everyone jumps off a bridge that has a crash pad and hands everyone a thousand dollars a month… does that mean you have to do it too?
YES!!!
Ha ha. Okay. Lets be serious here. This is something we haven’t experienced yet, but we are looking into this.
I have a good Airbnb friend who used my wife’s awesome design-eye when they looked to start advertising it. Kinda like “golden-eye” but – better.
It seemed very simple and stratightforward and I was shocked how quality the clientele were. Now you always need to be careful in a business like that.
But if you have already done things similiar and you have some street smarts – you can DO EET!
13. Sold our stuff online.
We sure did. We moved, and sold our stuff to make extra money.
I could not believe the big money we made!
